Time flies!
I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since the puppies were born!
Maverick the little tiny guy with the full blaze is a lovely average size papillon at about 6 pounds and 10 1/4 inches at the withers. He is now enjoying life and being spoiled by his papillon brother, Shoshana’s Catch Me If You Can. Catch was his family’s first papillon a few years ago and they have now added Maverick to their wonderful loving home. It has been great for all of them.
Cash and Ginger, Shoshana’s Ring of Fire and Shoshana’s Sweet Ginger Brown, are both at home with me and growing into very nice representatives of the breed. Hopefully they will be in the show ring soon.
Talisa Sampson has several of our papillons and recently I placed Shoshana’s Ring Leader with her. She got her first papillon from us for Juniors about 3 years ago and worked very hard with him but has been dying to get a “show dog”. Talisa provides a wonderful, loving and caring home. My Mingo just needed a major to finish so I placed him with her and we agreed to co-own him. She finished him last year at the toy dog club show here in August and has started to work on his grand championship and is continuing to show him in juniors as well. She attended the 3 shows prior to the Garden in NY this February and took an AOM with him. They also got 3 majors as well as some additional points on him towards his grand championship and also took first place in juniors one day at the Hilton Head Island Shows a week or so ago.
Here are some pictures of this lovely and hard working pair:
